Mixing glass with your ceramics

Product Description:

This piece was really good fun to make. I formed and hollowed out each petal separately to leave enough room for the crushed glass to melt. After the first firing I used a gorgeous turquoise glaze on each petal and added the crushed glass before firing the pieces again at stoneware temperature. And hey presto five ceramic and glass petals all ready to be wired together with some gemstones and pearls :)
