This is a classic beret (tam) style, hand knitted in a pure wool dyed from natural plant material - though not by me this time. The colours are subtle - predominantly soft subdued russet red and sage green. The hat is light but warm - and easy and comfortable to wear. It was designed to be worn with a little slouch but it will also hold the classic beret shape if you prefer.
