Yes, this is really a piece of fossilized dinosaur bone, made into a sterling silver necklace. The fossil has been nicely polished, & the agatized parts of the stone contrast nicely with each other. You can wear a piece of paleontological history. How cool is that?

This piece of real dinosaur lived in Utah, but we can't tell what type of dino it was, due to the small size. The stone is about 2.3 cm (under an inch) long, wrapped in sterling silver wire. The chain is 40 cm (16 inches).
