I have designed this roomy bag myself and crocheted it for you in a formal Granny pattern of turquoise, greeny blues and navy. I have used acrylic yarn as the colours are so good.I made it from 25 squares, each about 3 inches (7cm), and then I crocheted them all together. I edged the bag in navy blue and lined it with a piece of navy linen, putting a pocket inside which measures about 4inches by 3.5 inches. I crocheted two handles which are about 15 inches long (38 cm) making it possible to just hook the bag over your shoulder or use it as a traditional handbag. Finally I added a recycled navy button to close the bag.
The bag is roughly 9 inches deep and about 15 inches at the widest point at the bottom.
Because the bag is made in acrylic and linen it would be possible to wash it gently by hand in cool water.
