Product Description:

Polymer clay and fire agate earrings with copper wires. The handmade polymer clay discs, 2cms across, hang beneath gorgeous semi precious fire agate gemstone rondelles with little Greek ceramic washers.
They hang a total of 4cms from the copper ear wires.

The pattern on the polymer clay discs is made using a technique called Mokume Gane. This is done by first layering thin sheets of clay in several colours. A texture is impressed into the clay and then the raised areas are shaved carefully away, revealing the pattern in the deeper layers of clay. I have left a little of the texture on the surface of the clay.
