Fun beaded flower Rainbow Tea CozyAfter good sales at a recent craft fair I realise I have no tea cosies left at all - what a great excuse to design some more!
This one is a functional cozy to keep your teapot (and therefore your tea) warm longer - great for taking outside.
It has a ribbed appearance, but actually I hand knitted it in Brioche stitch - quite traditional for tea cosies. The yarn is a pure wool in a really fun shaded rainbow of red, orange, green and gold- not too bright but very colourful. it is finished with a double flower in purple and orange, with a pearl bead in the centre.
Tea cosy measures 7 inches by 8 inches when flat - and it is stretchy.
