Original 16"x20" acrylic painting.

Once upon a time, there was a girl who was waiting. What she was waiting for is not important, only where she was waiting and who she was waiting with and when they were waiting. You see, she always sat on the edge of a certain very low boat dock with her feet just touching the water so she could flick droplets into the air with her toes. And she always brought her best friend, Oscar the cat to help her wait, because he could talk to fish and find out all kinds of important underwater information. Most importantly, however, was that she always waited at sunset. The sunset part was important because that's when everything became magical. Anytime earlier or anytime later and it wouldn't work right.
