This bold and beautiful horse panel is inspired by Uncle Linda's beloved horse, Ethan Dodd. The outer border is a rough rolled amber glass whose color and texture accentuate Ethan Dodd's semi-translucent browns. The smaller inner border is a rough rolled olive green glass to frame the summery light of a walk in the woods. The ever changing light plays on the iridescent quality of the green glass. During the day, one look, but at night, an entirely different look. The tree branches are a brownish green, hammered, semi-translucent glass that reflect both the colorsin the piece and the natural patina of bark. Ethan's maine is a creamy gold opalescent glass that takes on different hues as the light changes. Ethan's eye is a glass nugget to give the piece dimension.
