Product Description:

Ready the cocktail sauce. I made one, you may need to fish for a few more! This is my fairly realistic and artisitc rendering of a full bodied shrimp or prawn done in a "light" robotic style, mod or tech at least, from the layered dual spread tail fins up through the arching back and body, with detailed legs tucked underneath, and the pointing head to finally the pair of antenna (ALL wood I will say). Finished off in a reddish coppery color appropriate to the species and two tiny, real black onyx stone cabochons for eyes.

I think this would make a particularly nice brooch pin, or hat decoration, but a pendant or simply miniature table sculpture would be work too. This creation is about 5 1/2" long and WELL under an average 1" wide (remember, 2 1/2 centimeters to an inch).

Made almost 100% from wood unless stated otherwise (I sometimes use tiny amounts of other things) I use paint and many finishes, often metallic, and make sure a lot of details shine through, often even the wood grain itself despite high tech themes. They maintain an often retro, sometimes even rustic look and feel to them, like an "olde worlde" toy or something (some more so than others ... I am told that surprisingly many do not even look like they are wood, but like metal or some manmade material... you can usually tell by the photos).
