This ray gun blaster is lovingly called "Blue Boy" by it's fans... and here we have the latest, "Mark 2" version... now sleeker and more powerful, and with the new focusing radinals, more accurate!Having been around for a LONG time (with tech updates, of course) it's made it's way all across this part of the galaxy. One of the true "magnums" for hard pressed space adventurers! Blue Boy is a classic laser blaster. You don't get a lot of different energy pulses or focus adjustments ... just a good, clean bolt of flesh searing energy. A high capacity Elektro Pack tanslates to less frequent reloading as well as an unusually quick, semi automatic rapid fire or at your choice a long, sustained, rock melting beam! With a simple but clean sight and a great "hand feel," this is the ray gun for you!
I love making these!
It's longest dimension is about 14.5" with the top only barrel length being about 1 foot long! (Reminder 12 inches to the foot and 2.5 cm to an inch). A clear hemishphere at the end of the barrel shows the bright red of a laser beam and a smaller one at the tip of the trigger shows green for safety off and all ready to go.
The closest thing you will find to a "real, live ray gun," like in the old comics, movies, serials, and science fiction stories. These are a part of my "Retro Tech" series made out of wood of all things which gives them a cool look and feel. It's a FULL, LIFE SIZE replica (or 1:1 scale finished model) all ready for display.
