Product Description:

A great and unusual way to celebrate an upcoming wedding or anniversary, unless you are true robot fans than this would be quite normal! As always one of my own designs, I created this robotic couple standing together out of wood.

They are a sophisticated couple, very Fred Astaire and Gingers Rogers in their look! The groom is quite tall, thin and dapper, dressed in the latest tuxedo tails in dark bronze (the robot version of black) with silver white shirt, fancy black bow tie and tall top hat! The lovely bride is wearing a robotic white (bright silver) gown in a sleek, form hugging style with slight drop neckline and a quickly widening skirt at the bottom ... kind of art deco for the bots. She carries a single fresh gear stem flower of real, finely detailed metal.

The base is round, finished in a faux steal look...

Just about all wood except for a few tiny bits like, for example, the real metal, tiny detailed gears for her "flower." This creation is about 4" in diameter at the base, the bride and groom figures themselves are about 5" high for him with his hat and about 3 3/4" high for her ... with base it's about 6" in total (remember, 2 1/2 centimeters to an inch). These are indeed light enough for pretty much any cake!

While this would make a fine cake top it would also be nice as a centerpiece or display table decoration and then nice keepsake for the couple. Consider it also for an anniversary party or, table top statue of an unusual bent...

As always I can customize this and most of my items with a special order. I also design them from scratch ... just email me to discuss it!

Made almost 100% from wood unless stated otherwise (I sometimes use tiny amounts of other things) I use paint and many finishes, often metallic, and make sure a lot of details shine through, often even the wood grain itself despite high tech themes. They maintain an often retro, sometimes even rustic look and feel to them, like an "olde worlde" toy or something (some more so than others ... I am told that surprisingly many do not even look like they are wood, but like metal or some manmade material... you can usually tell by the photos).
