No kidding. This vile alien creature, monster, ANIMAL must have come somehow to this planet millions of years ago. It's vile petrified remains are one of the most carefully garded secrets on the government. Archeologists often just disappear, don't they? The Slurgg (pronounced slerG, strong G), stand about 6-7 feet tall at the shoulder. Live in secluded swamplands and hunt at night. Silent, until they feed. First, and usually this is all they do when well fed, is they wrap their tentacle tongues (barbed) fully around their victims and suck all the liquid (not just the blood) from them. If they are hungry they will THEN strip every piece of soft flesh from the bones. If food is scarce, they finally fracture the bones and eat those as well.
The wings are vestigial, thank goodness...
This creation is about 3" tall, 3" long and almost 3" wide (remember, 2 1/2 centimeters to an inch) and is a free standing figure! All wood, tentacles too!
Made almost 100% from wood unless stated otherwise (I sometimes use tiny amounts of other things) I use paint and many finishes, often metallic, and make sure a lot of details shine through, often even the wood grain itself despite high tech themes. They maintain an often retro, sometimes even rustic look and feel to them, like an "olde worlde" toy or something (some more so than others ... I am told that surprisingly many do not even look like they are wood, but like metal or some manmade material... you can usually tell by the photos).
