Unlock the Rose Garden and your heart with this beautiful, one-of-a-kind crochet rose brooch in blood red with upcycled, hand embroidered brown leather leaves.Vintage faux pearls and what may have been an old earring with beautiful brass filigree set with marbled pink and cream gold flecked beads are set into the center of this large rose. Upcycled suede leather from an old jacket was free-hand cut with pinking sheers and then embroidered with pink thread and then backed with stiffened felt for structure.
Dangling from an antique style safety pin are a circular lock, a tiny key, and a piece of red glass in a silver-tone setting. The lock and key are of a set and are functional. All embellishments are vintage.
Fasten this beautiful brooch to your sweater, scarf, coat or bag with the hinged pin-back to spice up any outfit.
