Product Description:

Beautiful vintage ephemera has been hand stitched onto a dyed canvas to create Phillis Has Such Charming Graces. This piece started with a blank canvas that I have dyed and attached vintage ephemera to. The photograph is a vintage French one from the early 1900's that has been hand coloured. The lyrics to the song about Phillis and the title have come from a music book from 1895. I have added lots of sequins to make it sparkle and Phillis seemed to need them! The two buttons are also vintage.

This piece is singed on the reverse and measures 12 in by 9 in (30cm by 23cm) and it is on a deep framed canvas (1 and a half in/ 3 and a half cms)
