This is a handknit mouse toy for your kitty. He is approx 4 to 4.5 inches long excluding his tail(depending on weight of yarn used). He is lined with reclaimed crinkle paper and stuffed with poly fil. Catnip can be added upon request. He has black button eyes that are sturdily sewn on.I got the idea for this mouse from watching my cats play with the crinkly cellophane candy wrappers that they love so much. They like to hide it in my shoes and have lots of fun with it, but it isn't sturdy enough to withstand my energetic kitties. So I thought I should incorporate it in some cat toys!! This mouse is sure to be a favourite with your kitty too! Not only do cats love crinkly sounds, they adore the feel of yarn, so this fun little mouse is sure to please.
As with all toys, please supervise your friend while she enjoys her mouse!!
For children this mouse can be made without the catnip and with embroidered eyes. Just specify in a convo what kind of mouse you would like.
