An illustration of a little owl up in a tree was cut from a vintage childrens nature book, decoupaged onto upcycled bookboard, aged around the edges with ink, then sealed with a glossy resin finish.

<br />The brooch measures about 3/4 x 3 1/2", the back side is papered and has a standard pinback.
