May I present for the first time Mr. & Mrs. Roboto! This deleriously happy mechanical couple were just hitched and don't they look happy! The proud groom is lofting his hat in the air to surrounding family and friends, flashbulbs popping, standing next to his bride who has one hand lightly on his lower arm, their Mech dog between them! This is, for me, a little larger than normal cake topper but it creates quite an inpact in person, chock full of details and with a great anticipation of movement! And as usual, ALL out of wood!This couple is very robotic in nature.. still extremely humanoid but obviously a delight to technology buffs and fans of various movies and shows; they have a real "robotness." The bride is stunning, tall and svelt in a silver stapless gown. Where her dress flows to the ground we find her three spherical and treaded wheels in matching silver (no feet here)! As with many robots her hair piece, hair itself and veil are all rolled into one crowning glory on top of her head. She holds a single trumpenting copper flower blossum.
The groom is a strong figure with feet firmly planted, round reverse barrel chest and shoulder complex manipulating great arms ... and a tooth filled grin! He's wearing a bronze tailcoat tuxedo with silver shirt and a purple-ish regular four in hand tie and sporting a boutoniere. In his right hand he's doffing his DELUXE top hat to the crowd.
Their life long and silver best pal Fy-$ is patiently sitting between them, tongue hanging out as usual! (and as much as you may like him if it suits you better not to have a dog, just let me know!).
This creation has a round base that's 5" in diameter. The topper's largest height (the high waving hat) including the base is about 9 1/4" high while the groom figure is about 7" high for him. The bride is about 6 1/2" high including "hair piece." The dog is 2 1/2" high. The entire group is roughly 6" wide and 4" deep (remember, 2 1/2 centimeters to an inch). These are indeed light enough for pretty much any cake! While this is a fine cake topper it would also be great as a centerpiece or display table decoration and then nice keepsake for the couple.
