I visited the Alhambra in 2010 and was astounded by the beauty of the palace. I was particularly drawn to the decorative moulded plaster decoration that adorns the Alhambra and the graceful columns and archways that lead you through beautiful courtyards to shady, cool rooms.
This is a 6 colour giclée print from my original drawing on bright white Epson matte heavyweight paper, paper size A4 with a white border (as seen in main image): side borders 1.8 cm, top & bottom borders 2.5 cm.
Titled, signed and dated on the back.
This drawing is of highly decorated arches leading to a courtyard, the sun was setting in a pink sky and the white decorative plaster was glowing golden. I used black pen, and ochre oil pastel with washes of ink to capture the glowing colours and shadows.
The print will placed in a plastic sleeve and posted in a cardboard backed envelope.
