Product Description:
This very tactile work was inspired by the very sculptural allium flowers. I love those, like nature's sculptures. I've been meaning to paint one for ages and I'm very happy with how this turned out.The flowers are made of lots of little knots of cotton string. These were glued on a paper mache background which gives it a lovely texture. The color scheme is monochromatic and is understated simplicity, allowing the textures to speak for themselves.
