Description
This is a luxury item - maybe a gift for your special Valentine? I knitted it from an exciting (and expensive!) baby alpaca yarn from Cherry Tree Hill, Vermont. It is called 'Charmed' and the colourway is 'Sugar Maple'. It is a handpainted worsted weight Baby Alpaca yarn with a shiny binder (5% glitter) which offers a warm glow rather than a crude flash - very discreet and elegant. The yarn is utterly soft and luxurious - just begging to be worn next to the skin - perfect for a scarf.
<br />I chose a light, lacy stitch to make the most of the yarn. The finished scarf measures approx. 65 inches by approx. 4.5 inches.
