Description
Futhark was the runic alphabet used by the Vikings. Each of the characters in the language transliterates to a rough equivalent in our language, but each of the runes also has other meaning and representation from the world inhabited by this Old Norse civilisation.

<br />The tablets available here are, from left to right, Fehu (f), Raido (r), and Jera (j), meaning wealth, journey and good year/harvest respectively.
