Product Description:

Hand painted yarn 100g. angora laceweight soft lilac pink
The base yarn for this is a skein of 80% angora, 20% acrylic. The acrylic strengthens the yarn (you do not want breaks in lace knitting) and reduces the risk of pilling, but at 80% angora the yarn remains soft, though it is not the same as pure angora.
I dip dyed then hand painted it in subtle shades of lilac pink. The last picture gives an idea of the colour blocks, before the yarn was re-skeined.
I would use this one on fairly large needles to create an open, airy fabric - a summer scarf or shawlette. It is a fine yarn - laceweight but not cobweb. See picture against a 1 inch ruler for better idea of gauge.

This is 1 fat skein, weighing 100 grams and 600 yards
