As a parent of a child with autism, I've seen the benefit of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy with my own eyes - our son is thriving.We are fortunate to have medical coverage for this therapy, but so many aren't. For Autism Awareness Month I made a few puzzle piece pendants and donated a portion of the proceeds to a local non-profit autism therapy center. This parent-founded center offers scholarships for children whose families have no means to pay for treatment. The initiative was so successful I've made it a year-round commitment. I love being able to contribute to therapy provision for children who otherwise would lose out on an opportunity to chase their dreams, something all children deserve.
