Beaded Rope Necklace with Beaded Bead by DianaCoe #craftfest
Description
The "Herringbone" rope for this necklace is made from 11/0 ( 1,7 mm) white Rocailles, 2,2 mm Czech seedbeads and slightly bigger seedbeads in iridescent dark blue.
<br />The focal piece is a beaded bead (made by me), that fits in with the colour scheme. The beaded bead is made with Japanese Miyuki Tila beads, 3 mm glass beads, Miyuki Rocailles in 11/0 ( 1,7 mm) and 15/0 (1,3 mm).
<br />The whole necklace is all together approx. 65 cm long. That includes the two pieces of rope at 29,5 cm each, the beaded bead (width approx. 2 cm) and the clasp with fittings.
<br />The clasp is magnetic and connected directly to the coated jewellery wire, that runs through the whole piece.
