Beanie hat handspun men women wool silk hand knitted classic style contemporary colours
I knitted this one from a continuous yarn (so no annoying ends) which I had spun from various brightly coloured wool tops. I then plied this with a handspun cream wool thread. I knitted the top part of the beanie from my soft handspun undyed natural Tussah silk. I chose male/female shades (reds, olives, blue) to create a unique, modern hat suitable for a man or a woman. It is very warm and can be worn in different ways as the rolled brim is not stitched down.
This one was knitted in the round - so no back seam. It stretches to fit all but the largest head - it is designed to be a snug fit and measures approx. 7 inches crown to brim (not counting the little roll-up) and approx. 20 inches around its stretchy brim.
