A blackbird sings a-top a fence post in the early morning, greeting the sunshine. I have added a contemporary twist to this fine art print through the use of Japanese origami paper pattern for the bird's body, the outline of which has been drawn free-hand with black fineliner. The background is composed from calico fabric texture and sheet music.

<br />All elements were scanned and arranged in Photoshop, and printed on to Epson Archival Matte Paper using high quality fade resistant Kodak Archival Inks.
