It is griped firmly in hammered solid sterling silver wire and comes with a 20 inch silver plated necklace so it is ready to wear. The pendant measures approximately 3 inches tall and 1/2 inch wide. This piece has 2 small holes in it - likely air bubbles that were trapped in the ancient mix as it turned to stone so long ago. One is a tiny black dot on the front, and the other is on the side behind the silver wire holding the stone.
