Bondi Beach - OOAK handmade fabric bead necklace - Folksy

Fun necklace featuring my own handmade fabric beads matched with blue dyed yellow jasper and silvertone charm drop and clasp. The necklace measures 18" in length with the charm drop a further 2 and 1/2". The fabric beads are finished with a water resistant coating and the ends of each bead are embossed to prevent any fraying. I love fabrics, and have long wondered if there was something i could do with my stash of quilting remnants. Having made paper bead, I tried the same tecnique with fabric and with a little bit of tweaking came up with this sort of bead.
