I have spent months perfecting this handmade peony, after I remembered that for my own wedding I wanted a peony bouquet and that the weather was not quite right that year and the peonies would be out a week too late!!! I then wanted blue hydrangea's, but I was told they would not last. I ended up with cream roses!! They were beautiful but third choice. I wish I had known then what I know now! I did not want everyday run of the mill synthetic flowers and they looked too "synthetic" for me which is why handmade silk peonies are perfect. Made from thin satin they are more delicate than shop bought flowers and no two are the same. Each petal is hand painted and therefore gives a more realistic look.
