This antiqued bronze filigree peacock measures approximately 73 x 45mm, as is suspended from a matching 20" chain. The last parts of the tail are articulated, to the pendant will move with you as you walk.
The peacock features in Greek mythology. The hundred-eyed giant Argus was killed by Hermes whilst watching over one of Zeus' lovers, and Hera preserved his eyes forever, setting them into the tail of the peacock.
