The circle is created by free-machine embroidery onto vanishing muslin, a fabric that dissolves hence only the stitching remains. Shades of pink and cream have been randomly combined. These are topped with handmade felt (using the wet-felting method) in pink tones, with further free-machine embroidery in a silver metallic thread. To finish the circle is hand embroidered with French knots in purple, then embellished with a sprinkling of grey and pearl seed beads.
