Product Description:

For this lariat, I treated two fabulous Ghanaian cast brass medallions with a traditional verdigris solution, and suspended them via heavy gauge sterling silver from a double length of buttery cocoa-brown deerskin lace. I attached cascades of blue sky jasper, ebony wood, and blue spruce-hued lampwork glass to each medallion with lengths of silver-plated chain and hand-forged sterling silver ball headpins. Bands of nickel silver sheet that I embossed with foreign coins, and antiqued to a soft gunmetal finish, hold the leather in place. The nickel has been sealed with a high-grade lacquer, and a layer of Renaissance Wax.
