Glazed in sky blue and transparent this ceramic cake stand has been thrown on the wheel with white stoneware clay. The piece has a wide shallow rimmed top sitting on a circular pedestal base. Inspired by the gentle fluttering of summer butterflies in long hazy days the top of this stand has been hand painted with yellow, blue and beige slip.Site:
