Poncho/Caplet. Made from upcycled sari silk ribbon. Knitted collar and crocheted body. A great companion to wear casually with blue jeans. Wear it off the shoulder, with the point in the front or the back or jazz up that little black dress and make a stunning statement. Can be reversible if you like the ragged earthy look. Even wear it off the shoulder. Choices are endless.

Sari silk ribbon is made from leftover sari silk when changing colours during textile production. Women's cooperatives go into the textile mills to collect it and sew the ribbons together for a one of a kind yarn. All of my sari silk supplies have been purchased fair trade. It is also eco friendly as it is repurposed and would normally go into a landfill.

Wash separately by hand in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
