Child's leg warmers, woodland colours, wool, warm
A pair of warm pure wool legwarmers in variegated shades of sophisticated woodland colours - soft greys, greens and chestnut browns. These cosy leg warmers are perfect for those of you with children battling with snowy conditions - but they are also quite a trendy fashion statement.
I have designed them slightly more stretchy at one end so that they can be pulled over boot tops to eliminate that cold bit. The legwarmers were knitted in the round, so no annoying seams. This pair measures 12.5 inches inches long and approx. 7 inches circumference just below the main ribbed section - your child's calf measurement would need to be somewhat higher than this to prevent the leg warmers from slipping down. The main part is in stocking stitch (stockinette) to show off the rather special yarn and the ends are ribbed.
