Chunky warm leg warmers wool hand dyed blues A pair of really warm chunky legwarmers in a pure wool yarn that I hand painted in random shades of blue and purple. I left the ribbed sections in a contrasting white. These leg warmers are perfect for those of you battling with snowy conditions - but they are also quite a trendy fashion statement. I have designed them slightly more stretchy at one end so that they can be pulled over boot tops to eliminate that cold bit. The legwarmers were knitted in the round, so no annoying seams. This pair measures 17.5 inches inches long and approx. 10 inches circumference just below the main ribbed section - but they can be stretchy or worn slouchy as you prefer. The main part is in stocking stitch (stockinette) to show off the rather special yarn and the ends are ribbed.
