Chunky warm leg warmers wool alpaca grey mix
<br />A pair of warm chunky legwarmers in variegated shades of light, mid and dark grey. The yarn is Sirdar Peru, which is a mix of 50% wool, 40% acrylic and 10% alpaca.These soft, light leg warmers are perfect for those of you battling with snowy conditions - but they are also quite a trendy fashion statement.
<br />I have designed them slightly more stretchy at one end so that they can be pulled over boot tops to eliminate that cold bit. The legwarmers were knitted in the round, so no annoying seams. This pair is definitely longer - they measure just over 20.5 inches inches long and just under 10 inches circumference right below the main ribbed section - but they can be stretchy or worn slouchy as you prefer. The main part is in stocking stitch (stockinette) to show off the rather special yarn and the ends are ribbed.
