Chunky warm leg warmers wool mix rich blue grey
<br />A pair of REALLY warm wool legwarmers in a beautiful blue gey, known in the UK as Airforce blue.. The yarn is Sirdar Escape chunky, which is a mix of 50% wool and 49% acrylic. These leg warmers are perfect for those of you battling with snowy conditions - but they are also quite a trendy fashion statement.
<br />I have designed them slightly more stretchy at one end so that they can be pulled over boot tops to eliminate that cold bit. The legwarmers were knitted in the round, so no annoying seams. This pair measures approx.18 inches long and approx. 9.5 inches circumference just below the main ribbed section - but they can be stretchy or worn slouchy as you prefer. The main part is in stocking stitch (stockinette) to show off the rather special colours and the ends are ribbed.
