Description
I hand knitted this one from a continuous yarn (so no annoying ends) which I had spun from various highest quality Merino tops. I then self-plied this to keep the colours separate and clear. I chose shades of pale blue, dark red and creamy ivory to create a unique, modern hat suitable for a man or a woman. The beanie is soft and very warm. It was knitted in the round, so no back seam.
<br />This one is knitted in stocking stitch (stockinette) with a short rib section at the brim. The ribbing incorporates a touch of knitting elastic to ensure a snug fit.
<br />The hat measures 8 inches crown to stretchy brim.
