This clay Goddess figurine is inspired by ancient clay representations of the Mother Goddess and Her symbols.

<br />She is entirely hand modelled in a warm terracotta earthenware clay. Colour was added by painting with under-glaze colours which have been sealed under a lead-free, transparent glaze. A small amount of copper and cobalt oxides have also been used to emphasise her form.
