Genuine sea glass earrings in cobalt blue, petite dangling mermaid's tears on sterling silver posts.The ocean was into repurposing long before it was trendy; sea glass comes from human garbage that is surf tumbled until it becomes smooth & frosted. This glass was picked up on a beach in the state of Washington.
The slightly longer piece of glass hangs about 2 cm (4/5 of an inch) from the sterling silver studs. The final photo shows a slightly longer pair with coins for reference.
