This gorgeous brooch in magenta pink and copper is just the thing to brighten up an otherwise sombre royal outfit. This truly is a one of a kind creation as the copper filigree flower came from a necklace once worn by my mother. The design cannot be recreated.
I made the brooch pin from 1mm diameter copper wire that I have hardened slightly and honed to a point. I then bent it to create a spring and fashioned the end into a simple s-shaped clasp. The pin is decorated with tiny, magenta pink, metallic beads. I have made 3 loops in the broosh to hang decorated dropped from. From the middle one I have hung a beautiful copper filigree flower with bright pink, sparkling stones and a white one in the centre. The other two droppers consist of fancy head pins decorated with copper filligree balls, tiny magenta pink metallic beads and oval magenta mother of pearl.
