Product Description:

The picture shows a custom-made portrait of an Akita Inu, named Kusu. It has been made from a photo of the original dog. More pictures on the site show an irish setter, a cat, and a portrait of Peter, respectively.

If you wish to have a portrait of your dog or cat by Klara, contact her. Send some photos, and Klara shall create the sculpture, post it on Etsy reserved for your decision to buy or not.

Klara uses a special mixture of wet and needle felting (a rather tedious, work-intensive process), therefore the resulting sculptures have a rather firm structure. They can therefore be safely taken into the hands even by bigger children, they can even sleep with them.

Klara's sculpts are not exact copies of the model, but rather artistic creations, in which, however, one can recognize the characteristics of the model (as Klara sees them).
