'Definitely Not The End' Surrealist inspired collaged cabinet

This is the first collage/assemblage that I have completed in such a long time -it's scary how life gets in the way! And I've been waiting for a sunny day when I'm not busy to get some good photos of it. The inspiration began when I swiped what was probably once a first aid cabinet from my Father-in-law's shed. He does house clearances so is always a good source of weird treasures. It was just begging to be adorned in primary colours, and matched so well with the clippings from a Superman comic which came to adorn it -along with the bottles/containers evoking the idea of medicines or potions, and various other trinkets from my hoards.

<br />I am very much inspired by Surrealism, but there are clearly Pop influences here too.
