This glass pendant is entirely handmade by me.
The cabochon is fused in my kiln to very high temperatures, 1500 degrees F and annealed for strength.
it comprises 2 layers of carefully handcut glass, the top layer being all dichroic which has wonderful colour changing properties giving different shades according to whether it is reflecting or refracting.
Dichroic glass has to be the most perfect glass for a glass addict like myself.
My camera cannot do justice to the colouring, shimmer of the pendant which has a base of streaked pink opaque glass which is topped with a gorgeous dichroic florentine between clear shimmery dichroiic.
It hangs from a silver coloured bail which is securely glued in place to the back of the cabochon.
Please note that this is supplied as a pendant only, without any chain so you can wear it with the chain or ribbon of your own choice.. The cord shown is for photo only.
