Description
A felted meadow of yarn snippets, lovely curly wensleydale tops, silk and other hand-dyed fibers, has been used as the background on which to embroider daisies and clover.

<br />Sky blue wool fibers (from Etsy shop - http://www.etsy.com/shop/lazykate) have been felted to a background of kunin felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles) using an embellisher machine. A wide variety of yarn snippets, carefully collected from other yarn projects, have been added to represent the meadow grasses. Stitching in fine cotton has been added to the sky to 'stabilise' the felting. The daisies, clover and buttercups have been stitched in various embroidery threads. French knots have been used to suggest buttercups and speedwell.
