Description
A felted landscape is produced from a variety of yarns, overlaid with hand dyed fibers. A leafy tree is produced by couching over slubbed yarns, bluebells are embroidered at its foot.

<br />A variety of yarns are felted to a commercial felt backing using an embellisher machine. The sky is then overlaid with white merino fibers to represent clouds and the pasture is overlaid with hand dyed wensleydale fibers. The tree is worked by couching over two slubbed yarns. The bluebells are embroidered in a mixture of crewel wools and embroidery threads.
