Description
A rich carpet of meadow flowers is hand embroidered onto the felted background of this brooch. A lovely spring/summer scene - a perfect gift for Mothers Day.

<br />Blue yarns, overlaid with hand dyed merino fibers, form the sky. The meadow grasses are felted from a mixture of hand dyed fibers including merino and silk. The final layer is of curly Wensleydale fibers. A close texture is achieved by using an embellisher machine.

<br />Harebells, daisies, buttercups, cornflowers and yarrow are all represented by simple stitches in embroidery threads.
