Description
A lovely piece of vintage lace trimming has been used for the background of this embroidered brooch, with roses embroidered in ribbons in shades of Cream and Ivory.

<br />Beige felt has been covered with vintage lace, slip-stitched in place, the cut edges folded to the back of the felt. Silk ribbons, in two shades of ivory, have been chosen for the rose and rose buds. Leaves are stitched in an 'antique green' embroidery thread to compliment the roses. White gypsophila flowers are represented by French knots in embroidery thread.
