Fragments of cotton fabric, produced as a by-product of dressmaking and patchwork projects, have been combined in a 'crazy patchwork design' onto a kunin felt background using an embellisher.
Chosen for their rich purple tones, the fabric scraps have been bonded to a felt background using an embellisher machine. Pieces have been torn to shape to avoid the sharp edges produced by scissors and to begin the fraying process, accentuated by the machine.
